Fertility Underwear for Men

Did you know that enhancing your chances of conception may be as simple as changing the underwear you wear? That is of course if you are a man. While there isn't necessarily a wealth of fertility underwear for men designed specifically to promote fertility, there is evidence that a man's underwear may affect his fertility.

Studies suggest that men should stay away from tight fitting underwear. Tight fitting underwear may contribute to infertility. Why? For one tight fitting underwear may increase the amount of heat the scrotum is exposed to. Anything that raises the temperature of a mans testes can interfere with a mans sperm production, and this in turn can impact fertility. Other common culprits include too many hours in the sauna or hot tub.

So perhaps your man should consider wearing boxer underwear instead of briefs. If only it were that easy.

Other Factors That Impair Fertility

Wearing boxers may indeed improve your partner's fertility. There are however many other factors that can contribute to male infertility. These include excessive stress. Stress is more commonly a cause of male infertility than wearing underwear that is too tight. Just as in women, stress can inhibit fertility in men. To help reduce stress, you and your partner should focus on engaging in fun activities together. Baby making should be a fun rather than a stressful adventure. Too much stress can not only impeded your partner's fertility but also his ability to 'perform' in the bedroom.

There are cases where men may also have health conditions that may contribute to infertility. If you or your partner are having trouble conceiving, it is important you both consider a physical to help determine the cause of your infertility. Some men for example may have a low sperm count. While this won't make it impossible to become pregnant, it can make conception a bit more challenging. Fortunately there are measures you can take to boost your chances of conceiving, including timing intercourse and assuming certain positions to enhance sperms ability to reach the cervix.

It is also important that you and your partner are screened for sexually transmitted diseases. Many STDs go undetected for long periods of time. Ultimately this can lead to infertility in both men and women. If one partner is diagnosed with an STD it is important that both partners are screened and treated. An undiagnosed STD may not only impede fertility but also result in various other health complications.

Just as women's fertility declines with age, so too does men's. That said, a man remains more fertile for longer periods of time than women. It isn't impossible for example for a man to impregnate a female when he is 80 years old, but a woman is not capable of carrying a pregnancy when she is 80. While this may seem unfair, you are probably better off not carrying a baby when you are 80. Carrying a pregnancy to term is a lot of work on the body, not something most women care to do when they are in their 80s!

So, to make a long story short, if you and your partner are looking for simple methods to boost your fertility, consider buying your partner a few pair of silky boxers. It will not only spice up the bedroom and help infuse a little fun in the baby making process, it may also help boost your partners fertility. And by all means, stay away from alcohol. Alcohol can affect both a woman's and a man's fertility. Instead engage in a little extra foreplay, and take time to enjoy the baby making process. When both you and your partner are relaxed and enjoying one another, your chances of conceiving rise exponentially!
