Exercise or Not During Pregnancy
Getting pregnant is not a synonym for inactivity or abandoning your sporting routines if you already have one, however as the body changes, your activities and exercise level must change making it proper for the different pregnancy stages. While the most recommended exercise is walking, you will probably find it hard during the eighth month.
The amount of exercise needed should decrease as soon as you are certain of the conception and then plan the progressive decline to avoid your body feeling the impact of losing your good shape if you suddenly suspend all your activities.
However, if you are wondering if you should start or continue an exercising routine, the first step to take is get a medical checkup before planning any pregnancy exercise program. It is likely that you will have to stop exercising if the checkup reveals a condition that makes exercising risky to you or to your baby.
In order to avoid unnecessary anxiety design a pregnancy plan that includes the exercise that your doctor approves. Usually pregnancy routines starts with moderated exercising that will not cause pain or shortness of breath.
How can you know if you are exercising correctly? Excessive exercise will make you feel tired or uncomfortable but if even moderate exercising leads you to tiredness, the best is to decrease your routine until you find the adequate amount of activity.
For women who never exercised before pregnancy this can be a harder process but necessary so simply start very slowly and keep working on the routine.
