Most pregnant women know that exercise is good to build bones and muscles and at the same time it increases the overall energy levels, keeping women healthy throughout all the stages of pregnancy, but many of the changes associated to changes in your body affect your ability to exercise.

As the pregnancy progresses, your body gains extra weight, your belly shifts center of gravity stressing joints and muscles, including those of the lower back and pelvis resulting in back pain, loss of balance and instability with walking and increased risk of falling.

Exercise increases energy and stamina reducing, bloating, swelling , constipation, and backache and improves your posture while balances your mood and lifting your spirit. From this perspective, a pregnancy exercise group or Yoga class gives pregnant woman the opportunity to socialize with other pregnant women to share experiences and fears.

Pregnancy is sometimes uncomfortable especially when heading off to bed, but exercise promotes better sleep giving you a sense of control and self-confidence while helping your body to build better muscle tone and strength. Staying active during pregnancy helps you with common symptoms like feeling tired and is beneficial to your health towards a happy labor and delivery.
