Yoga Workout At Home

Yoga is good for Stress Relief and stress may become a normal condition during pregnancy, particular for new mothers-to-be expecting the unexpected sometimes as part of those unwanted fears of the first time, in addition to all myths and horror stores around being pregnant.

Although you may practice Yoga attending one of those centers where this discipline is imparted, it is always possible do it at home by yourself and does not require any special equipment. Yoga fundamentals are around breathing so you already have the most important element.

All exercises are aimed to improve your breathing capability and each single posture is linked to an inhale and an exhale routine moving deeply into the different postures. The deep breathing is acquired when long, full inhales and exhales take place, bringing oxygen to your entire body, energizes your system and giving you the feeling of wellness.

Before starting your workout get a sticky mat to provide a barrier between you and the floor preventing your hands and feet from slipping while exercising. Wool and Mexican-style blankets may be used as padding to make some positions and blocks more comfortable and as an aid for some positions like touching your toes.

Wear comfortable clothes made of cotton or Lycra moving with you as natural as a second skin. Inhale through your nose filling your belly, ribs, and upper chest with air as if they were a balloon. Exhale through your nose and tuck in your belly button as the air is released.
