Getting Ready for The Baby's Arrival

Nine months have gone and you are so excited sharing with your husband those dreams and plans already dreamed and planned but now as the time draws closer you find you are not ready. It is s not that hard for the parents-to-be to decide on the University their baby will attend and even sketch the baby's wedding but many forget to make plans for the arrival day.

Are you ready for the arrival day? Your visit to the hospital, between the labor and delivery, may be as brief as less than 24 hours before go back home, so get prepared in plenty of time before birth date for a smooth transition making the baby feel how much he or she was expected and wanted.

Naturally, the first thing you must consider is the baby's sleeping area and the place for storing clothes, medicines and supplies. Most parents prefer to have the baby closer to them at night during the first weeks or months, so it is possible to make your own bedroom the baby's area.

About supplies, do not forget to purchase in advance all the nursery equipment you will require. Among them are receiving blankets, washcloths, bottles and nipples, brushes for cleaning them, a diaper bag or tote including changes of clothing, diapers and plastic bags for soiled diapers, as well as other items including nursing bras, a changing table and an approved car seat.

Select the baby's doctor, learn newborn care, breastfeeding, and know where to find a cloth diaper service delivering on a 24-hour notice, or just before your due date.
